EXPLORE: Baguio City during ASEAN | Day 3

We've learned our lesson the other day and just chose a fresh and educational exploration-- the Museo Kordilyera inside UP Baguio.

The museum is relatively small, but it's design and architecture is modern and artistic at the same time. The guard there informed us about its expansion, which we can hopefully witness in fruition soon.

They have an entrance fee with a special discount for students and senior citizens, so prepare your IDs, folks!

The museum is all about the culture and the arts of the people of Cordillera. This spot is advisable to those who are conducting their theses about anthropology and indigenous tribes.

Moreover, we over-calculated our time and realized that we still have a lot to spare. Okay, I guess we never learn our lesson at all, because we still headed up there in Mines View.

They still call Mines View, Mines View even thought the view isn't there anymore. Do you get me? The what's-supposed-to-be a Mines View was covered in trees already and that's all there is to that.

Thank God for the Strawberry and Ube Taho, because this experience would definitely be regret-worthy without it, as we have to fall in line for more than an hour to ride a jeepney again! Yay! (Insert sarcasm here)

We just bought Shawarmarice for lunch to cut cost. BUT! There's a Nescafe kiosk, which sells a variety of flavored frappes. You can read my Baguio food story here for more details.

Now, it's Burnham Park daylight edition, because my mom didn't allow us to experience the pedal cart, we just rode a boat and hired a rower. From him, we learned that the government replaces the water in the man-made lagoon at the heart of the Park every 12 years or so and they spend 2 million pesos just for that. At least, we know that the government of Baguio City really took their budget distribution seriously and for the well-being of the city's tourism.

So this is the most anticipated dinner time, ladies and gents as we had our reservations at the Hills Station! This place is known for their well-cooked steaks and I definitely recommend that you try this out. Bear in mind that they have a strict dress code and it is very advisable to have your table reserved for they are full-house most of the time. Check my Baguio food story here to find out more.

Afterwards, we didn't want our night to end thus we visited the Beans Talk cafe at the City Center Hotel. We tried there Strawberry Crumb Smoothie which is worth a try. Check my Baguio food story here to find out more about Baguio's must try food affairs.
