EXPLORE: Baguio City during ASEAN | Day 1

The Manilenos can never be more thankful this ASEAN as work and classes were suspended for almost a week long. That's why we decided to maximize the opportunity by travelling somewhere, and Baguio was just the right place! It's not just because the city was very reachable, but it's the best place for everyone to breathe fresh air and experience a change of atmosphere (Zig-zag roads, fog, cold air and pine trees, come on!)

The ride from the Victory Liner Pasay terminal was around 5-6 hours if you ever chose to ride Deluxe/ First class.

Since we arrived Sunday, we attended the mass at the infamous Baguio Cathedral.

Afterwards, we explored SM Baguio and re-visited our favorite foodcourt kiosk, Nanam Iloco. Nothing beats their Bagnet Meal-- inclusive of soup and Ilocos bibingka. Check out my Baguio food story to know more finds.

Before the night ends, we made sure to have a tastes of the well-known Baguio dessert, Strawberry Shortcake made by Vizco's bakeshop. Remember! It is a-must that you try, even just a single slice of this cake. I f you don't, you'll totally regret it. Check out my Baguio food story to know more finds.
